Syntec has yet again succeeded in bringing a top-class Barcode Handheld Terminal to market. The new DENSO BHT-900 builds on the success of its predecessors. In practical terms, the new model offers twice the functionality of the previous BHT-8000 unit. The new BHT-900 is twice as fast, twice as resistant to drop damage, has double the data storage capacity and with 200 hours from one charge even offers more than three times as much battery life! Overall, the new model offers customers a truly outstanding performance package.
DENSO Barcode Handheld Terminals are well known for their powerful performance and excellent investment protection. But the new BHT-900 sets the bar even higher. With a reading speed of 200 to 400 scans per second, it offers phenomenal speed with top quality scanning accuracy. Thanks to its CCD (charged coupled device) technology, the BHT-900 proves far more reliable in reading poor quality barcodes (e.g. dirty or creased) when compared to laser technology. Data storage capacity has also doubled. This enables the unit to handle even very large data volumes – for example, full inventory lists. A key feature for deployment within industrial or other heavy-use environments is the device’s robustness; an area in which the new BHT-900 sets new standards. Instead of the usual ‘drop test’ standard of 30 falls, the new unit can resist 60 falls from a height of 1.2 meters, making it one of the toughest models on the market. And with a network-independent operating life of 200 hours, it offers users a previously unachievable level of flexibility.
Syntec are providing a free compiler service and development kits for current customers looking to upgrade from the BHT-8000 series. Contact the Syntec office today for more information on upgrading to the BHT-900.
