The Infrastructure Behind Your Network
Copper. Fibre. Racks. Infrastructure.
SynTec works with Excel Networking Solutions to design and deliver high-performance structured cabling and network infrastructure for businesses, schools, warehouses, data centres and enterprise environments.
Excel provides a complete end-to-end infrastructure portfolio covering copper cabling, fibre optic systems, racks, cabinets, power distribution and data centre infrastructure, giving SynTec a proven platform on which to build reliable networks.
From a single communications cabinet through to a complete multi-building fibre and copper infrastructure, SynTec can design, install, terminate, test and certify the complete solution.
Structured Cabling Built for the Future
The physical cabling infrastructure is one of the most important parts of any network.
Switches, access points, cameras and other technologies will change throughout the life of a building, but a correctly designed structured cabling system can remain in place through multiple generations of technology.
That's why SynTec takes a long-term approach to cabling design.
We consider not only what your network needs today, but what it may need to support in the future — including higher network speeds, WiFi 7, increased PoE requirements, CCTV, access control and other IP-connected technologies.

SynTec can design and install Excel copper infrastructure ranging from Cat5e through to Cat8, with Cat6 and Cat6A forming the basis of many of the networks we deploy.
Excel's copper portfolio includes cable, patch panels, patch leads, keystone jacks, outlets and cable-management components, providing a complete end-to-end cabling system.
CAT6
A proven structured cabling solution suitable for a huge range of commercial, education, retail and general network applications.
CAT6A
For new installations where performance and longevity are particularly important, SynTec can deploy Cat6A infrastructure capable of supporting 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
Cat6A is particularly well suited to high-performance networks, wireless access points and devices requiring higher levels of Power over Ethernet.

Connecting Your Network at Speed
Fibre forms the backbone of many of the networks SynTec designs.
Whether we're connecting communications cabinets across a school, linking warehouse infrastructure, creating resilient network backbones or connecting buildings across a campus, Excel's Enbeam fibre portfolio gives us a wide range of options.
Excel supports multimode and single-mode fibre systems including OM3, OM4, OM5 and OS2, alongside conventional, pre-terminated and blown-fibre solutions.
SynTec can provide:
OM3 / OM4 / OM5 Multimode Fibre
OS2 Single-Mode Fibre
Internal & External Fibre
Armoured Fibre
Pre-Terminated Fibre
Fibre Patch Panels & Enclosures
LC Connectivity
Fibre Splicing
OTDR & Certification Testing
From a straightforward cabinet-to-cabinet link through to a multi-building fibre backbone, we can design the topology around the requirements of the network.
-
The comms cabinet is at the heart of your network infrastructure.
Excel's Environ range provides everything from wall-mounted communications cabinets through to full-size server and data centre racks.
SynTec can design complete cabinet installations incorporating:
Network switches
Patch panels
Fibre panels
Cable management
PDUs
UPS systems
Routers and firewalls
Servers and appliances
Everything is installed, labelled and presented to create an infrastructure that's not only reliable, but easy to manage and maintain.
-
One of the biggest advantages of a properly designed structured cabling system is that it can support far more than traditional computers and phones.
A SynTec and Excel infrastructure can provide the physical connectivity for:
Enterprise Networking
WiFi & WiFi 7
CCTV
Access Control
VoIP
AV & Digital Signage
Building Systems
IoT Devices
Barcode & Mobile Computing
This means we can design the underlying infrastructure as part of the complete technology solution, rather than treating cabling as a separate part of the project.
-
Installing the cable is only part of the job.
Every SynTec structured cabling installation is professionally terminated, labelled and tested using industry-standard test equipment.
Where the installation meets Excel's accredited-partner requirements, Excel offers a 25-year system warranty covering the installed system.
This provides additional confidence that the infrastructure has been correctly designed, installed and tested.
Built for Power over Ethernet
Modern structured cabling increasingly carries power as well as data.
WiFi access points, CCTV cameras, access-control equipment, VoIP phones and other devices can all be powered directly from the network.
Excel's copper systems support modern PoE requirements, including IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 and Type 4, enabling up to 60W and 90W classes respectively.
SynTec considers these requirements during the design stage, ensuring the cabling infrastructure is appropriate for both the bandwidth and power requirements of the equipment being deployed.
Excel + SynTec

Working with technologies from manufacturers including Ubiquiti, Cisco, Meraki, Juniper and Zebra, we can design the physical infrastructure and the technology operating across it as one complete solution.
Why SynTec + Excel?
Complete Design & Installation
From the initial survey and network design through to cable installation, termination, testing and final handover, SynTec can manage the complete project.
Copper & Fibre Expertise
Our engineers install both structured copper and fibre infrastructure, allowing us to design the right combination for each environment.
Professionally Tested
Infrastructure is tested and documented before handover, giving customers confidence that their network has been installed correctly.
Built Around Your Network
Because SynTec also designs and installs the active network, we understand exactly what the underlying infrastructure needs to support.
Built to Last
We design infrastructure around future bandwidth, PoE and connectivity requirements, helping avoid the cost and disruption of replacing cabling every time the technology changes.
Build Your Network on the Right Foundation
Whether you're installing a handful of additional network outlets, refurbishing a communications room or building an entirely new copper and fibre infrastructure across multiple buildings, SynTec can design and deliver an Excel Networking solution around your requirements.
